Minimal VOC dual-purpose white primer/undercoat for interior wood and ferrous metals. Can be used with appropriate topcoats and is perfect for use with our own Greenpaints Semi Gloss. Apply one coat of primer on interior surfaces followed by two coats of water-based topcoat.

Typical Use:
Minimal VOC dual-purpose white primer/undercoat for interior wood and ferrous metals. Can be used with appropriate topcoats and is perfect for use with our own Greenpaints Semi Gloss. Apply one coat of primer on interior surfaces followed by two coats of appropriate water-based topcoat.

Colour Range: White

Application Method: Brush, roller or spray.

Drying Times:
Single coat at standard thickness - Touch dry dependent upon temperature and humidity.
Recoat: 2 hours.

Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc.
Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ (wet & dry paper used wet) method where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth.
Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution.
Ferrous metals: remove any loose rust and mechanically abrade and degrease prior to painting.

Application Details:
Stir thoroughly before use.
New or bare surfaces: 2 coats of Universal Primer Undercoat.
Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Universal Primer Undercoat.
Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats.

Cleaning tools:
Wash brushes out with soap and water.

Typically 8 to 10 sq.m per litre.

Binder: Acrylic Copolymer
Pigment: Non-lead pigments
Volume solids: 36% (nominal).
